Article I. Preliminary Matter
Introduces the Election Code, its purpose, scope and foundational principles ensuring fair and equal student elections.
Section 1.
This document shall be known as the NEUST Student Government Election Code.
Section 2.This Code shall apply to and govern all students' elections at all levels.
Section 3.This Code is intended to ensure that each candidate is afforded an opportunity for election equal to that of any other candidate for that office.
Section 4.All interested, potential and filed candidates, their affiliated staff and volunteers shall be held responsible for the contents of this Code.
